Send a Christmas card overseas! For more information, visit www.redcross.org
I printed off some Christmas cards for Travis and Sierra to color. There are several rules and regulations so check out the site before you send them.
I learned a lesson yesterday. Parchment paper burns at temperatures over 400 degrees. Tee hee. I set off the smoke alarm… My pizza didn’t stick to the pan though!!
I printed out a calendar and wrote down what we were having for dinner each night this week. I gave it to Dewayne and said if you don’t like it, YOU change it. I get SOOO tired of getting off work and trying to decide what to cook. By the time we finally decide, I am totally out of the mood to cook! He had no complaints and we have stuck to it! VERY helpful!
I am trying to get caught up on expense reports at work… mainly because it’s almost time for them to be turned in again… All of the guys under parts/sales (“my guys”) have to send me their receipts for anything they put on their company credit card. It is my responsibility to get them to Houston.
Some interesting things I have learned from expense reports:
1. Cameron employees are addicted to McDonalds.
2. There is a chain of convenience stores called “Loaf N Jug”.
3. According to the show “Mythbusters” a single piece of paper cannot be folded in half more than seven times. My guys are determined to disprove that with their hotel receipts.
4. It does not matter whether you leave the restaurant copy of the receipt at the restaurant or not.
5. My guys can’t read. Otherwise they would leave the restaurant copy of the receipt at the restaurant.
6. A staple WILL go through an inch thick stack of wadded up receipts.
7. A staple will NOT go through a two inch thick stack of wadded up receipts. They try anyway. When it doesn’t go through, they try again, and again, and one more time.
